Detail Itinerary

Day – 1: AIRPORT – NEGOMBO (Dinner)

• Welcome on arrival by our representative.
• Transfer to Negombo. Check in at the hotel.
• Dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Negombo.

Day – 2: Negombo – Pinnawala – Kandy (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Leave for Kandy.
• En route proceed to visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala.
• Visit a spice garden to see different spices and how some of these spices are grown.
• Lunch at restaurant.
• City tour of Kandy.
• Visit the Temple of The Tooth Relic, upper lake, Kandy market area.
• In the evening witness a cultural dance show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dances including fire dancing.
• Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.

Day – 3: Dambulla – Sigiriya – Kandy (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• Breakfast at a hotel.
• Climb the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a world heritage site.
• Visit Dambulla Rock Temple built by King Walagambahu.
• Lunch at restaurant.
• Proceed to Kandy.
• This was the last kingdom of Sri Lanka, and the hill capital. Kandy is also the venue for the Annual Perahera, a pageant with over 150 elephants, dance troops, etc., annually parading the city for 10 consecutive days. Visit the Temple of The Tooth Relic, upper lake, Kandy Market area. In the evening enjoy a Cultural Dance show.
• Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.

Day – 4: Kandy-Peradeniya- Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.
• Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, known as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka.
• Lunch at restaurant.
• En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls.
• Visit a tea factory and a plantation to see the tea manufacturing process. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of “Ceylon Tea”.
• Dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day – 5: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo – Apt (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Leave Airport via Colombo.
• Travel through a beautiful landscape & see the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka, “St. Clair’s”. Enjoy the rich nature.
• Make a sightseeing tour of Colombo. Visit a Buddhist Temple, a Hindu Temple, Pettah, Cinnamon Gardens, The former British Administrative Center and Military Garrison, Sea Street, Goldsmiths quarters in the heart of Pettah, remaining Colonial area, Fort, Galle Face Green, Independence Square, BMICH, replica of the tallest standing Buddha statue at Aukana, etc. Discover the city & explore the shopping malls, such as House of Fashion, Odel, etc.
• After dinner at restaurant, transfer to the airport for onward flight.
