Detail Itinerary

Day 1. AIRPORT – NEGOMBO (Dinner)
• Welcome on arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Our representative and transfer to Negombo.
• Check in at the hotel
• Rest of the day at leisure.
• Dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Negombo.

Day 2. NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA – KANDY (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Proceed to visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala.
• Visit a spice garden to see different spices and how some of these spices are grown.
• Lunch at restaurant.
• Proceed to Kandy. This was the last kingdom of Sri Lanka and the hill capital. Kandy is also the venue for Annual Perahera, a pageant with over 150 elephants, dance troops, etc. annually parading in the city for 10 consecutive days. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, upper lake, Kandy Market area.
• In the evening witness a cultural dance show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dances including fire dancing.
• Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.

Day 3. KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.
• Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, known as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka.
• En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. The town is set against a beautiful backdrop of mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea gardens. Nuwara Eliya is one of the coldest places in the island, with a weather of almost like a spring day in England. The temperature will drop at night and taking a warm jercy is recommended.
• Visit a tea factory and a plantation to see the tea manufacturing process.
• Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of “Ceylon Tea”
• Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4. NUWARA ELIYA – COLOMBO – AIRPORT (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
• After breakfast leave for Colombo.
• Drive through Kithulgala where the Oscar winning movie “Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed.
• Lunch at restaurant.
• Make a sightseeing tour of Colombo. Visit a Buddhist Temple, a Hindu Temple, Pettah, Cinnamon Gardens, the former British Administrative Center and Military Garrison, Sea Street, Goldsmiths quarters in the heart of Pettah, remaining Colonial area, Fort, Galle Face Green, Independence Square, BMICH, replica of the tallest standing Buddha statue at Aukana, etc.
• Discover the city & explore the shopping malls, such as House of Fashion, Odel, etc.
• Dinner at a tourist restaurant.
• Transfer to the airport for onward flight.
